You are invited to submit paper abstracts and session proposals online via the Conference website: www.asce.org/conferences/lid10. Please follow the abstract submission guidelines located on the Conference website.

Abstracts should describe the theme and content of the proposed paper and should address one or more of the Conference topics listed below or noted on the Conference website. It is not necessary to summarize elementary LID concepts in your paper or poster, as Conference attendees are already aware of the basics. Session proposals should include all abstracts for the session at the time of submission.

Submission Deadline: August 12, 2009

This Conference will consist of a three-day technical program (Monday - Wednesday) inclusive of an opening keynote session and four concurrent technical tracks. Authors are expected to orally present their talks in a technical session or poster session. Field trips to sites that demonstrate successful applications of LID will also be scheduled.

The Conference will highlight new and continuing work including research, developments, and community adoption of LID throughout the United States and other countries. Participants will include stormwater program administrators, regulators, researchers, consultants, engineers, landscape architects, design professionals, students and teachers, soil scientists, architects, city planners, municipal officials, developers, and facility managers.

The 2010 International Low Impact Development (LID) Conference is a Conference of the Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI) of ASCE.
